		Jon Winkel Chief Executive Officer Jon graduated from Morningside College in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 1978, Jon joined Long Lines as the Outside Plant Supervisor and worked his way up to President and Chief Executive Officer in 1989, where he served for 15 years until being named Vice Chairman in 2004.

		John Gerdelman President Previously, John served as an Executive Vice President at MCI Corporation, President and Chief Executive Officer of USA.Net Inc., Managing Member of Mortonsgroup, LLC, and successfully emerging Metromedia Fiber Networks from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Since January 2004, John has been the Executive Chairman of Intelliden Corporation, a company which he co-founded that provides software solutions to automate network change management and enforce business policy in network operations which was sold to IBM in April, 2010. John currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Brocade Corporation, a storage area network company; Sycamore Networks, a provider of Intelligent Networking Solutions; and Proxim, a designer and manufacturer of broadband wireless equipment and systems

		Paul Bergmann Chief Operating Officer Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Morningside College in 1986. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and is in charge of all Phone, Cable and Internet operations for Long Lines. His duties include overbuilding communities, overseeing both CLEC and ILEC daily operations, and the continuing effort to provide the latest technology and up-to-date services to all of our customers.

		Brent Olson Chief Financial Officer Brent graduated from Morningside College in 1993 with degrees in Accounting and Finance. He later received his MBA from the University of South Dakota. He began working for Long Lines in 1997 and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer in which he oversees all of the financial aspects of the company.

		Dan Winkel Chief Information Officer Dan is an Iowa State University graduate with a degree in Computer Science. He currently serves as the Chief Information Officer where he ensures information and technology are being fully leveraged to execute business strategies.

		Lisa Osborn Chief Marketing Officer, Corporate Relations and Human Resources Lisa graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1991 with a degree in Business Administration/Management and Marketing. She later received her MBA from the University of South Dakota. She began working for Long Lines in 2008 and currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing all aspects of Long Lines’ marketing efforts; Corporate Relations, in charge of Long Lines’ public relations efforts; and Human Resources, managing all aspects of the Human Resources function for Long Lines.

		Pat McElroy Vice President of Business Development Pat graduated from Briar Cliff College in 1989 with a degree in Business Administration and Finance. He currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development where he supervises the sales and business accounts for Long Lines. He is also directly involved with overseeing our relations with several municipalities.

		Bill Gaukel Vice President of Retail Sales Bill is a 1990 graduate from Iowa State University. He currently serves as the Vice President of Retail Sales where he oversees retail sales strategies for Long Lines.
