Helping a Family in Need...

On Wednesday, June 11, 2008, a tornado that destroyed the LIttle Sioux Scout Ranch outside of Blencoe, Iowa also left a family devastated. Their home was completely demolished in the storm and the family, who has 3 small children, were left with only the clothes on their back.

The Long Lines program stepped in and donated $1,000 to the Blencoe Fire Department and started a fundraising drive for Long Lines employees to donate clothing, food, monetary gifts, etc. Over four boxes of clothes were donated to the family, along with gift cards, toys, blankets, pillows and a TV.

The Long Lines program is dedicated to supporting the communities where we live and work, and our proud of our efforts to help out a local family in need.
